DARREN WETHERILL – MANAGING DIRECTOR 
 
Darren is a time served apprentice and following completion of his apprenticeship decided to venture out on his own. He starting trading in 1989 and has learnt, through practical experience, all aspects of the industry. This experience includes the business acumen required to run the successful Company you see today. Darren is currently Chair of the local branch of the Electrical Contractors Association and was until recently a part time Fireman in Shoreham. He regularly plays golf and badminton and enjoys watching football and Cricket supporting both Brighton and Hove Albion and Sussex County Cricket.

RUSSELL GORRINGE – CONTRACTS DIRECTOR

Russell served his apprenticeship and has since worked for various companies.  He joined DWE in 2000 and has recently become a Director of the company.  Russell’s role as Contracts Director involves overseeing the Contracts Department.  He has extensive knowledge covering all aspects of the industry.  Russell is highly skilled in the design and build of control panels in addition to his vast knowledge of the industry.  Russell regularly plays golf and has an impressive handicap of 9.

Chris has many years experience within the industry and joined DWE in 2001.  Chris as Estimating Manager looks after our team of estimators alongside being our in house Electrical Designer.  He is currently the Treasurer of the local branch of the Electrical Contractors Association and is well known and respected throughout our industry.  Chris is an avid supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

TERRY WOOLGAR – BUSINESS MANAGER

Terry joined DWE in 2005 adding his extensive knowledge of finance to the Company. He has worked in finance and management for many years and is our Business Manager involved with managing various aspects of the office. Terry Regularly plays badminton and golf, enjoys watching local football and supports various charities.

MARK WAVELL – CONTRACTS MANAGER

Mark has worked in the industry throughout his career and added his expertise to the Company in 2001. Mark has much experience within the healthcare sector of the business. Mark also has responsibility for our Company Health and Safety. Mark enjoys many sports including mountain biking, snow boarding and golf, and has completed several sponsored bike rides in aid of local charities and the National Autistic Society.

SIMON BAKER – SMALL WORKS MANAGER

Simon joined DWE in 1998 working as an electrician, Simon managed sites and an opportunity arose in 2007 for him to join the office team as Qualifying Manager. He has subsequently taken on the additional role as Small Works Manager. Simon plays golf, enjoys football, supporting Brighton & Hove Albion, he also enjoys walking his dog on the downs.
